I was the featured performer at the Spite House in Seattle, and I was happy to be back at this unique performance space to do an hour set. Above you can see clips of 2 pieces I did on 2 homemade instruments: Transformation on cigar box guitar, and We Went Down to the River on beer-can guitar.
Stephen Fandrich is the live-in resident artist at the Spite House. He is a gifted pianist who always opens the Spite House shows with saxophonist Bill Monto as the Spite House Band. But there is an added wonder in Spite House: Stephen has turned a back room into a Harmonic Bath, an invention of his that uses the sound and vibrations of harmonic gongs to create a relaxing, other worldly experience. I was treated to a harmonic bath bath myself, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!
