I carried a sketchpad along with my guitar as I traveled west in 1971. This is my sketch of the view from a tree house in northern Colorado. "I hear a stream run below" and "halfway up a hill, above an old abandoned mine" are lyrics in "We Could Live in Love", a song inspired by that experience.
I found an old sketch book in the basement.
Picturethe "old abandoned mine" in the song below

My sketch of Drop City, a commune near Trinidad, in southern Colorado, where I lived in a geodesic dome. Drop City and me are both long gone from Trinidad.
