I had a fantastic time performing in Chehalis, Washington last night at the Matrix Coffeehouse's 20th Anniversary celebration. I have performed at the Matrix in the past with my creative acoustic bands The Tree People and The Walking Willows and it is one of my favorite venues, with great people, great sound, and great atmosphere. I performed with my 2 cigar box guitars (which continue to be a hit with my audiences) and with my miniature guitar. A highlight of the performance was a new version of my song Thomas on my miniature guitar.
The was an amazing synchronicity in the booking of this performance. A month or so ago I e-mailed Moon at the Matrix to let him know I was thinking of a return performance there in the future. At the exact same time he was e-mailing me to ask me to perform at their 20th Anniversary show. Amazing! Of course I was happy to do it!
